Being a primary school teacher, I love picture books... even if I teach Year 6, they always go down a treat! The sillier and funnier the better. They just love being kids and not feeling like they always have to read a full novel or a book without pictures in it. I read this book and thought it was great. The real test was sharing it with my class last Thursday to see what they thought. I even got them to write a mini-review in their English/reading books to share their thoughts. A lot of them wrote opinions that wove in with mine: beautiful, crisp illustrations, a story that is great but is also easy to follow, great for all ages (even adults!) and one that should be on school bookshelves. This is now on my classroom bookcase and I have no doubt that it will be pulled out by many a child in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.
