A hit with the toddler!
The new book brought to you by the author of ‘I say ah, you say no’, John Kane.
This book has some lovely illustrations which immediately drew my toddlers attention to it. It tells the story of a little adventurous penguin. The penguin is named Norman and each page shows a new adventure Norman is on. The story was easy to follow and although my Little one isn’t reading yet he soon learnt the words and was reading along with me! It helps that each page is captivating and doesn’t have many words on it to hold my little one’s attention.
For me, this isn’t a childhood classic that I would ensure I bought as gifts for my friend’s children, but as a fun book for a short bedtime story it is great! I suspected it might be one we love for a while, but may get slightly repetitive for parents so others may get out to the front of the bookshelf!
