The cover of the book is very eye-catching. When it arrived in the post my son's opened it and the little one wanted to read it straight away so his big brother read it to him and they both seemed to really enjoy it. I think the older children will enjoy the build up and understand the humour, then younger children will like the bold pictures. This would make a cute little gift for a child and it is likely to be one they will want to read over and over again! I would definitely look out for others by the same author as it is nice to have books to read to the children that also have a bit of humour in them. The illustrations are really bold and it's visually a very pleasing book. It makes a lovely addition to our little library and children can never have too many books. The build up of the story and little silly twist at the end works really well. Lovely book.
