Having read a previous book by this author, I was so looking forward to reading this one. It was equally as good as the previous one I read with my grandchildren. I still have a grin on my face from ear to ear with the sheer delight of this book. It is adorable. This book is obviously intended for preschool children and is perfect for developing little minds. The story tale increases by one extra line each page and this encourages remembering. I found that each page the children started repeating back the previous page and waiting for me to add the next line. The final page is a twist to the tale and had the children rolling about with laughter. It is a funny amusing tale. The illustrations are simply beautifully drawn, and the quality of the book pages is very high. With thicker pages the normal books they are less likely to become scruffy, or marked by eager little hands. I would highly recommend this book and I’m off to buy more by this author as I am so impressed.
