I've read one of John Jane's picture books before with my cousin and he really liked it and speaking from an adult point of view they are a good learning tool.
This was a really fun read for pre schoolers and toddlers and could easily be a the kind of thing for a school room read aloud situation.
The drawings are bright, vibrant and "chunky looking."
They are simply done and not too complicated for the age level it's aimed at.
The wording was repetitive to encourage participation and engagement with young readers.
It was fun, cute and had the right mix of everything to keep childrens interest focused on the book.
Definitely a hit with my young cousin and being spectrum its really hard to engage his interest with things but this did the trick and he concentrated on it.
Will be re read in the future too and will look out for even more by this author.
