What a wonderfully funny book this is to read! It tells the tale of Norman and I have to say this lovable penguin is very cute indeed! He is the butt of all the jokes. I would say that the story and it’s jokes are probably more suited for an older child - my toddler at 3, whilst enjoyed listening to it, I don’t think really understand the concept behind the jokes. The front cover and the illustrations are lovely though and they are really bright and colourful to attract that younger reader. I Dr find the repetition good and I think that indeed once my toddler is older then I’m sure this is a book that she will be reaching for time and time again. I have also had the pleasure of reading other books by this author the one about the bear saying oh no and I have to say that I found this one better than that one, although again probably suitable for an older child
