Poor Norman, the little penguin does everything in his power to keep you interested in him, and then he's thwarted right at the end with a surprise!
The book is a hit with my 3 year old. She loves reading it and we can easily read it three times in a row without her getting bored. The story is simple and helps her understand new words. The repetition of words works well.
The illustrations are really entertaining, you can easily see what is going on the and the colours pop out at you making it engaging for little ones.
The book itself is well made with tough glossy card which I believe would be robust enough for younger toddlers / babies. The story is versatile enough to attract an older audience 5-7 as it is funny and has lots of opportunity to discuss the pictures at more length.
