What is Black and White? Is such a fun pre-school read. With very cute and bright illustrations that catch little kids eyes and make grown ups smile too. Each turn of the page adds a line to the story which encourages remembering and prompts children to get involved too, as they can join in as the story builds. Young children will be giggling at the final page, and want to re read this amusing story. There are a few other similar books by this author aimed at the same age and of a similar set up and they’re all of excellent quality. Lovely size and nice, thick pages it won’t get dog earred if it sits at the bottom of a toy box for a while. I’d definitely recommend this and the other books in the series to parents of children aged 2-6 as they are very good for getting younger children interested in the joys of reading. A lovely story, great pictures, funny and engaging!
