This is a delightful, eye catching and sweet children's book about a penguin called Norman. Even though I am not the target audience, it still very much made me smile and laugh. My mum works in a pre school so I will be donating my copy to the preschool and she reckons they'll love it. The drawings are very bright, sweet, colourful and child friendly and I reckon the book will be a fantastic tool to teach children about how a sentence can build and be used to give a reader new information. Whilst I do think the book is fantastic and many children will enjoy it and be able to engage, I do think it is slightly repetitive. The book is very thin and light weight so if any parents were concerned about it taking up too much space in a book shelf they needn't worry about that! This would be a fab purchase for any parents of children who love reading, animals and penguins!
