Whilst the cover wasn't the most striking I'd seen, the blurb was very intriguing and as I read the first look I found it even more fascinating. We often hear of people going missing and just walking out on their families, so this really explores how it makes those left behind feel - was there something they missed or is there more to the story than meets the eye? Especially when children are involved, and the mother is normally so reliable it really opens the question as to why she would even consider just walking away and leaving everything behind - i need to know more!!
