While this could initially draw some comparisons with Gone Girl, there seems to be a far more emotional and human core. It's a gripping mystery that feels more sad than sinister, which is a nice departure from other books of the genre. Use of multiple perspectives and narrative voices is compelling. Intrigue is set up very well. Anxious to read more!
