I loved "What She Left" by Rosie Fiore. You get immediately sucked into the lives of her characters, because they are just like people you know... but in this novel, Fiore takes you behind closed doors to reveal their darkest secrets. It's DELICIOUS. Helen, the perfect housewife, disappears one day, and the novel follows in the wake of that event. The judgements you make about the characters: the devoted husband, the school gate busybody, even the young daughter, get turn on their heads as you flip each page and delve deeper into the twisting plot. I loved that it was told from multiple perspectives. I loved how real everyone was... and of course, how twisted. Although the ending was a bit... clean for my tastes, I would definitely recommend this novel to all of my friends.
