I was unsatisfied with the ending, I'm just going to start with that.

It began with an exceptionally interesting set up with subtle hints as to reasons why a woman would up and walk out of a seemingly perfect life, but it seemed to lose focus and steam going in.

Chapters focusing on the points of view of different characters are fine, but some characters dominated too much; they should have been the key focus. There were points introduced before immediately being dropped altogether and going no where and several characters that were so subtly cruel and awful that it was difficult to feel for their pleight.

However, character flaws made them more realistic but this is a minor positive point; a couple of twists with very little build up and with no real pay off and an ultimately unsatisfactory ending with several characters completely ignored, leaving the audience wondering what became of them having been such a stark focus point during the rest of the story.
