Having read a preview of the first 30 pages, I couldn't wait for the book to arrive so that I could read the rest. I wasn't disappointed. What would cause a perfect mother to leave her ideal husband, home and daughters leaving no clues where or why she went? This well crafted book gradually explains all, mainly from the perspective of the parents Helen and Sam with insights also from a friend, Lara, and the 8 year old daughter, Miranda. All mothers will be able to empathise with this family and the events which led to Helen's disappearance. How could it possibly have a happy ending for all involved. It couldn't! Left me thinking about the characters long after I had finished reading it
(Just one typo noted - page 82!)
