I really enjoyed this one. It was written in a style that I enjoy reading and I found the characters well written and depicted. I picked this up because I have loved books such as The Versions of Us and One Day. I loved that we got to hear the thoughts of both Laura and Jack throughout. The overriding theme is how communication, or a lack thereof, can cause massive issues if not handled carefully. There are many different emotions drawn out in this book. There are many moments of frustration, where you just want them to sit down together and properly talk about how they are feeling and where their relationship is going. The cover is a little bland and probably doesn’t make it leap of the shelf to people browsing, but definitely worth a read.
