I have read and loved the previous 3 books by Gill Sims and this looks like another furiously funny light-hearted read that will definitely resonate with pretty much every mum!
From the start, the story is frank, down to earth, funny and totally relatable. The children are growing up, and preparing for adulthood with all its inherent problems - Teenage angst, hormones, exams, alcohol, parties, driving, leaving home, etc. And this extract with all of the joys of Jane's driving test definitely had me laughing out loud.
Even if I don't win, I'll be picking up a copy of this and looking forward to another hilarious and acerbic take on family life!
