This is the fist time I've come across this series, and I found it amusing although the narrator "Mummy" is very cross with the state of her life. She is trying to organise two teenage children with all the mood swings and belligerence that entails whilst keeping her own life in check.
The writing is very down to earth - real - and one that most people can relate to - even me who doesn't have kids but have met a lot of teenagers.
