There is something delightfully Diaries of Adrian Mole about this, except written from the viewpoint of a rather worn out mum. This looks like an entertaining read, albeit potentially a bit exhausting given the pace of the action - perhaps reflecting the mood of the main character! I'd be keen to continue to try the rest of the book based on this first chapter.
