This isn't the type of book I would usually choose, and I think it's one I would enjoy more if I was a mum of teenagers myself. Having read the opening chapter I'm not entirely sure where the plot is going and wasn't gripped to find out. It is an accurate depiction of family life and maybe will get more interesting throughout the book.
