I only gave 5 stars to this book because the option of giving 10 stars is not there. I absolutely loved it. I had the privilege to be sent a copy. It is now proudly standing on my bookshelf with the 3 other Gill Sims' book that I had already read. Yes, I have a shelf dedicated to me, as all the others belong to my sons. The author is quite brave to point out so many things that all of us go through, especially in this "perfect" world where all families' lives are supposedly said to be lived in perfection. It gives you reassurance that some things are "normal", other people go through them as well. Some paragraphs took me about 10 attempts to read, as I cried so much with laughter, so, it took me a bit longer to read it. Brilliantly written, witty, funny and uplifting. Thank you so much for this refreshing approach of motherhood. Now I know which book to recommend , if I want to cheer up a Mum - Gill Sims. Emilia, Kent
