There are certain books that you just want a series of, and this is what can be said for the first book in this series. I am so happy that Gill Sims chose to write more books as they are just utterly brilliant.

However, there is always a fear with a book series that at some point, a book along the way will not meet the same standard as the rest of this that have come before it.

BUT this is not one of those books! Another instalment in the Why Mummy series and it was utterly brilliant! These books never fail to make me HOWL with laughter. And just when you think you can't laugh anymore, the story is ramped up yet another gear and you end up having to peel yourself off the floor from laughing so hard with tears in your eyes.

If I want a pick me up - these are the books that I go to. These are the books that I suggest to all of my friends.

Please don't be mistaken that these are just full of utter comedy (they are), but themes and life events are dealt with well and sensitively and there are often moments in these books (and this one is no exception) where you find yourself struggling with sadness - but never fear, a pick me up of laughter is just around the corner.

Utter love!
