I was so so keen to read this book! I almost ordered the others in the series too because they sounded so good and I loved the first chapter when I read the sneak peek. Unfortunately the book irritated me too much! Comical takes on motherhood are what I really love...I love the Unmumsy Mum more than life itself but this one for me was a real let down. This book had all the right ideas and humorous anecdotes, but it felt like a conversation with one of those annoying friends who never lets you get a word in and just waffles and waffles flitting from one topic to the next, to the next without actually ever making a decent point or telling a story worth telling. After reading about a third of the book I couldn't tell you anything about it other than there was a driving test. The flitting between topics was just so so bad. Such a shame but just not for me I guess.
