I was really excited to give this book a go as I'd heard good things about the others by the same author and had a friend who was crazy about them. I was given a copy of this book by a friend as it wasn't her cup of tea and sadly it just wasnt mine either. I thought it would be right up my street, but found it just very 'waffly'. It seemed to just jump from idea to idea without really making a point. I read upto about the half way point, then decided it was irritating me way too much to even carry on reading it! The main character was whiny and self obsessed and just moaned about her life as if she didnt want the kids she had chosen to have. It made me irritated and dislike the characters too much to carry on reading I'm afraid. I had such high high hopes for the book but unfortunately for me it just didnt live up to the expectations. Maybe it just wasn't my humour.
