I am and always will be a traditional lover of chick lit, and this has that same vibe so I was bound to love it from the start. Mummy (Ellen) is left at home with two teenage boys while the Dad is out of the picture.

Honestly I just kept thinking of apologizing to my Mum for everything I put her through without realizing when I was younger! So much so in fact that I am going to give her the book because I know that she will have a good laugh with it!

This book is so well written and genuinely funny, giving a decent handful of laugh out loud moments. I really enjoyed the tales of Mummy and hearing how she is barely holding onto life by the fingertips.

While I am not a Mum myself (yet) I could definitely still sympathize with all of these scenarios that she finds herself and her family in. I am definitely going to hunt out the rest of the 'Mummy' books as I adored her writing style and need a hell of a lot more belly laughs! Would recommend.
