a funny and light hearted book, a nice way to finish the series! it was really nice to see the character difference from the start with more wisdom and different perspectives. again, the book was witty and felt relatable, very easy to read in one sitting! perfect to read at the end of the night with a glass of wine or two (or three). although written in the same style as the other books in the series, i felt that this one didn’t have the same effect as the others, but i would still recommend it! gill’s style of writing is so hilarious it caught me chuckling to myself out loud quite a few times. if you’re not a fan of swearing, maybe choose something else but i thought it added to the character! would love to get reading more of gill sims’ work, maybe she could start writing another series about her daughter as she grows up. i look forward to what comes next from her!
