I loved this book! I haven't read any of the previous 'Why mummy' books by Gill Sims so I was initially a bit unsure as to whether I would understand the concept etc.. but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that no previous novels were required to understand the premise!
I found the book hilarious and extremely easy to read. Although I have not yet had the delights of bearing children, I found the stories completely relatable and loved Gill Sims' way of writing. I enjoyed how frank the author is with her descriptions and the inclusion of swear words somehow worked really well! I think the different personalities of Jane and Peter were great, and reading about how Ellen deals with her situations with Simon and Marissa made me laugh out loud.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy read and I am definitely interested in reading the previous books in the 'Why Mummy' series!
