This is the tale of Ellen and her family and the saga's they undergo that result in Ellen needing a drink or two!
Ellen's two children are undergoing their exams and Ellen attempts to get them to revise and tear themselves away from modern technology.
There are many highlights in this story but the night that Ellen looks after her friend's little toddler, Edward is so funny. He causes havoc everywhere he goes and it is exhausting reading it.
The novel is well written and could be read even if you have not read the others in this series.
The characters are so warm and so well described that you can see them.
A recommended read to cheer you up and make you smile on a long winter's night.
