A hilarious read that many, many mums will relate to, this is book five although how did I miss the previous books in this series, although it doesn't matter one bit if you haven't read them. There are ten chapters each covering a monthly account of family life throughout the year, all written in a diary style of writing, and it works, you find yourself both laughing and cringing at the same time. From Jane taking her driving test, Jane's 18th birthday celebrations, to Jane going off to university and Peter's friends staying over and gaming when they should be studying, to herself going out with her new next door neighbour and getting ready for a night out, they all come with funny and probably true scenarios to women world over and the part where she is looking after her best friends toddler is really funny, especially if you have forgotten what two year olds can be like.
A book to lose yourself in and who doesn't need that these days, funny, lifelike and very relatable. A 5☆ read.
