It’s like having had someone follow you around and record your life with your teenage offspring and then also having the ability to read your inner thoughts. Marrisa is depicted as we depict all step parents to our children and the element of envy is glimpsed occasionally through the constant Criticism of marrisa as being annoyingly nice all the time. Funny and relatable throughout and just has you as a reader, relaxing into the whole thing, just like you were 9n a night out with friends, sharing drinks and confessions. Fun threefold.
