Why mummy’s sloshed says everything that we all think but never say out loud. This follows on from Gill Sims first book and now Peter and Jane have turned into teenagers and when you think that all the tantrums are over new problems occurs of exams, door slamming and learning to drive.
The chapter where Ellen looks after Edward her best friends demon child had my crying with laughter as all the incidents that happened we have all experienced. During which Ellen goes from thinking she is super nanny and should be on a Tv preaching her words of wisdom to allowing Edward to pretend to be a dog and eat his food of the floor just to get him to eat.
Ellen is also dealing with an ex husband, an ex boyfriend who moved to Antarctica to get away from her and the new next door neighbour Mark who she can’t decide if he’s a serial killer or a potential new boyfriend.
