I started reading this book but for some reason didn’t end up finishing it. For the first few chapters I read I found this book heavily relatable and extremely comedic. I had already read the first two books in this collection by this author and had found them easy and relatable to read so decided to give this one a try. The cover uses the bright eccentric colour of teal or mint green which I think definitely shows the element of fun included in this book and how it’s a combination of happy and sad topics. The topic of divorce is also discussed by the main protagonist Ellen which I think is a theme that is often overlooked or seen as a negative thing. Because of divorce being a key theme in this I think it provides both an insight and reassurance to other divorced individuals and we can see it in a more comical light and as a normal and understanding time to experience for some couples.
