This book was completely out of my comfort zone and thought I’d give it a go, after the initial reading of the first impressions I thought it may have grown on me.. but sadly not although funny in parts I just didn’t click with it, very cliched and after the phenomenal success of the other books in the series I felt it was just the same old same old; which is a shame.
Ellen is a very likeable character and definitely has traits that all mums and even dads can relate to especially her relationship with her kids but everything was so long and drawn out! It just didn’t keep me captivated I even skipped sections and found myself speed reading to get to the end , which isn’t a good sign.
Thank you for the opportunity to read “why mummy…. “and I will always give any book a go but not my cuppa tea sadly. I’d say read the first two enjoy them and laugh then move on .
