I really enjoyed this; I’ve read all her other books so knew this would be equally as good. I like the characters in it, they make me laugh! I weirdly like the fact she calls her kids, the moppets, even though they are grown up. The only thing I will say is that she wasn’t as sloshed as I thought she would be given the title of the book.
I hate spoilers, but I will just say I do love where the story ended up. I loved all the descriptions of Edinburgh too, it made me feel like I was there.
I liked all the other characters that showed up in the book too, and how she handled Edward was very well done - I couldn't have managed it!
Gill Sim's books are so easy to read and get into, so if you don't have much time to read at a time, it's a good one to pick up and put down as and when you can. Or even when your waiting for the kids to finish their after school activity!
