This was the perfect pick me up after a stressful week at work and made me laugh till I cried. The descriptions were fantastic and you. Could as a reader put yourself into Ellen's shoes even if like me you don't have children of your own as the events are so realistic I had a mental picture in my head of how run ragged Ellen must have been after looking after her friends toddler for the day and his escapades. This was a light hearted and feel good read which I am sure most people mums or not couldn't help to not fall in love with the characters and the trials and tribulations bringing up a family. It has so many laugh out loud moments which I would love to quite here but don't want to give away any spoilers. This is the first of this author's books I hAve read and certainly won't be my last as I have wanted to read this author's books for a while and certainly wasn't disappointed and read it in two days as couldn't put down.
