This book is the latest in the Why Mummy series. I have read the rest of the series and am glad that even though my son is older i can continue to feel I am not alone!
Why Mummy's Sloshed is a year in the life of a Mummy and her 2 children who are now all grown up teenagers negotiating exams and driving tests.
However it is still really funny and shows that however old your children get things don't change and they still need you. The mummy is now thinking of her life as her children are getting to University age, becoming more independent and moving out. She does not want to be left alone.
It is told in a diary format and this works really well as you feel you are inside the mind of Mommy.
Some of the happenings may be slightly far fetched but this does not detract from the humour of the situations.
I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the next instalment!
