This will be my first book by Louise Pentland, and I have added the first book in this series (Wilde like me) to my to be purchased pile just based on the first look. The cover looks absolutely stunning and just my sort of thing. I also really liked the blurb, which suggests an uplifting story, something that I would enjoy.
The first look gave a great impression, with great characters and a good introduction to the characters. I also love the images at the start of each chapter and think this adds to the quirkiness of the book. There have already been a few funny moments in the first look and that makes me want to read this even more. The only thing I will say is that there was a part where I lost attention for a while, which soon faded but otherwise I really enjoyed the start of this book.
