The character Robin Wilde immediately seems relatable and someone I could be friends with, which I liked a lot. The style of writing is easy and fun, perfect for a getaway read away from the stresses of life.
I’m interested in the dynamics between Robin & her co worker, Skye, and think that has real potential to be a great plot line.
I’m not a fan of first person narratives so it took a little bit to get used to reading one. This is personal preference however and I enjoyed what I read from Wilde About The Girl and will be eager to read more upon its release.
Also - I haven’t read the predecessor to this title and thought this would be an issue whilst reading but I was pleasantly surprised to find I wasn’t lost and in fact it made me interested to read the first novel.
