Just looking at the cover and reading the blurb I was fairly sure this book wouldn't be for me but I was willing to give the first impression a chance, on the basis that you should never judge a book by its cover! However, the writing style didn't appeal to me at all and I soon gave up on the first impression. I imagine that it will be a fun read for anyone interested in an easy to read chick-lit story.
