After reading the first book by Louise I wasn't sure if I would actually enjoy this one. I will admit I found the first book to be very slow and felt that not a lot actually happened until towards the end of the story.
So I will say that I was pleasantly surprised when I got started on book two. These books are not fast paced and action filled but they are very like real life and more true to how you would expect life to be like as a single mother.
The characters are likable and very funny and to be honest I was actually really interested in finding out what was next for Robin Wilde.
It also felt like Louise was getting more comfortable in her writing style and it just flowed so much better than book one!
I think this is a book that you will enjoy and be able to relate to if you are a parent
