I've only recently begun reading chick lit novels but I adore Louise Pentland's series already. Her first novel introduced us to a young single mum, who at times struggled with various aspects of her life. Robin was an incredibly relatable character in the first book and she has continued to be so in the second novel too.
She's a strong independent woman, but at times we all need a helping hand. Louise Pentland has strived to display the importance of woman supporting other women. Women empowering others instead of bringing them down.
Wilde About The Girl dived a little bit deeper than the original Wilde novel, it touched on a few sensitive subjects that require opening up and being honest. This was done with such care and precision, I hope it has helped any women or men who have struggled with these problems.
A brilliant sequel to a hilarious series, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for news of a third book.
