A fun (if simplistic), feel good story.

I want to start of by saying that whilst this book is not the most literary or thrilling book, it is a lot of fun and at times leaves you feeling very warm and happy.

Robin Wilde is a single mother to Lyla Blue (a very sweet and charming 6 year old girl that you just want to squeeze hard and tell her how wonderful she is). The book opens with Robin in a very bad way, feeling the effects of being single for so long, something many of us can relate to.

By chance, Robin meets the beautifully charming Theo and the hit it off immediately, but things are perhaps not as wonderfully as they seem...

This story is a real pick me up for anyone who sometimes feels like they aren't enough. As Robin discovers, sometimes the people you have and the things you have in life are enough and special in their own way.

Whilst this book is clearly written by someone who is not a novelist by trade (it shows in the pace and storytelling - it, at times, is not the most rivetting and the story is somewhat lacking in excitement so it may not be for everyone), it is clearly incredibly heartfelt and that's what stood out to me. Its a warm, fuzzy read perfect for a lazy autumnal Sunday.
