I love Louise Pentland's mummy videos and her books are just as memorable as her videos. Just like Louise, the book features a six-year-old daughter and the protagonist is a single parent. It shows how a single parent tries to change their life and add a sprinkle of glitter back to their life.

I love Louise's writing style, it's effortless to read and really enjoyable. The book had me in absolute stitches of laughter at times and that's always a sign of a great book.

Seeing Robin develop as a character both physically and emotionally was brilliant. Like most of us, Robin had become stuck in routine and the monotony of life. It takes honest conversations with people in real life to help her realise that social media isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

I believe there is a sequel out to this now too and I desperately need a copy. If you need a light hearted read with plenty of laughter, this is the book for you.
