One thing that the world needs more of, is honest accounts of life as a Parent, whether that be single or otherwise. Honest viewpoints of how wonderfully chaotic it can be are everywhere, but those that are also honest about how difficult, and all consuming it can be are sorely needed. I love the fact that this one is easy to read, relaxing even, whilst still getting into the harsher realities that are parenting.
But the best thing for me about this, is that although the author DOES look at how difficult parenting can be, they absolutely do NOT dwell on that, rather they don’t gloss over it, whilst also not obsessing. Instead, we have an honest account which is a realistic blend of the difficulties, humour, challenges, love, stress and joy that all go hand in hand with parenting.
The writing is relaxing, whilst being fun to delve into page after page!
