An easy read
I read this book when it first came out, after seeing Louise talk about it on her YouTube channel. I was looking forward to reading it, and though I did enjoy it, it wasn't completely for me.
'Wilde Like Me' tells the story of single mum Robin Wilde, and the highs and lows of her life as a working mum looking for love. I mostly found the characters engaging, and I found myself keen to know what was going to happen next, which made for a quick and easy read.
What I feel lets this novel down, however, is how it's written. It's very casually written, almost like a blog post, and there are grammar errors and badly structured sentences throughout.
Overall, 'Wilde Like Me' makes for a good summer read, as long as you don't mind how it's written.
