This was a really beautiful, heart-warming read.
The main character Robin Wilde is really accessible- I think every girl can relate to her in some way. It was funny and full of humour.
Its written really well and easy to just pick up and read, even if you only have 10 minutes or so.
I like the diary-esque style of writing. Very similar to Bridget Jones- the reader can really engage with all the characters and follow the events of the book.
I also loved Auntie Kath- such a likeable and fun secondary character but she also brings a lot of warmth and heart to the book.
I think the fact that Robin is not perfect is very refreshing. And her battles with her self-esteem and mental health issues is honest and brave for the author to discuss.
I hope this book gives others the up-lifting happy feelings that this book gave me.
