This book is brilliant. From the front cover the the story itself. The front cover gives you the obvious clue that the story is about a mother and her daughter. But it is so much more than that. The main characters are introduced really well and you become really attached to them. More and more characters are added throughout with adequate detail. Louise Pentland doesn't give unnecessary details about the new characters which is nice. The story is relatable even for those like me who haven't got children. I think that Pentland is a great storyteller and has created characters that aren't just a single mum or aren't just a florist they have so much more depth. The story shows the struggle of being a single mum and trying to date as well as keeping your sh*t together. I think that this is realistic and helpful.
