Whilst I'm familiar with Louise Pentland as a youtuber, I wouldn't have considered myself to be a fan. After reading this book, that has changed.

This book (which seems to be semi-autobiographical, as it's very open, honest and real) portrays the difficulties over motherhood and relationships, but also captures their beauty. The characters and the plot is so genuine and in no way feels forced or artificial.

There aren't many romance books about single parents, so this one feels especially different. It also isn't too happy-clappy (which adds to the authenticity) as it perfectly captures the balance between the struggles and joys of being a single parent in pursuit of love and happiness.

Whether or not you're familiar with Louise Pentland, you'll adore this book and I'm absolutely certain that you'll be a fan of hers by the end.
