I've not been able to audibly laugh while reading in quite a while but this did just the job! It was sweet and enjoyable to read and I may continue the series if I get chance.

I found Robin Wilde slightly annoying at times as a character. There's only so much self-deprecating I can tolerate in a character. I know it deals with some heavy themes, but the way it was written was the problem here. Also there was a heavy reliance on 'chick-lit' tropes. Not that I really expected much more from this book, but it would have been nice to have not predicted the entire plot! It felt very 'Sophie Kinsella' so I'm wondering if Louise Pentland is a fan! Would be a great beach read I think, not too heavy but enough that you want to keep reading.

The secondary characters were great too. They provided that additional bit of interest to the book so when I was frustrated with Robin they were sort of a distraction?
