Genuinely Warm and Inviting
This lovely book is set in a modern town and follows the story of Robin Wilde and her daughter, Lyla Blue Wilde. This story is something to enjoy and enabled me to laugh out loud at a book for the first time in a long time.
The characters are mostly lovable with a few that you can't help but dislike as you end up completely siding with Robin on everything that she says and feels.
Another review describes this story as, "... a hug of a book." And it is completely correct. The way it is written makes you feel at one with Robin as she goes through both struggles and happy moments. It is everything that I wanted in a book. I laughed, felt sad, elated and even had to put it down to avoid tears a couple of times.
100% recommend!
