You know the books that get you out of reading slump? Well this is one of them. You don't have to put much effort into reading this but by the end you will be in love with all of characters (definitely Kath). I love how heart warming it is and the main character (Robin) is so fiercely lovable I can't see why you wouldn't enjoy this book

Not only is the writing hilarious to read but covers serious topics like depression, loneliness and imposter syndrome. I really related to how Robin felt with the posh mums and the juggles of being a single mum despite not having to deal with either. I think this down to Pentland's honest writing style. " The Emptiness" is so perfectly described that I thought she picked it out of my head.

Although I really enjoyed the book I had a one fault. I didn't like the fact that Robin needed or pinned for a man though she does go on some extent of self discover, I would have personally loved to have seen even more although that might happen in the later books. (Have not read any but most likely will soon). But beside that it was amazing.

Note: I brought this book while doing my weekly shop as it was on sale and did not know she was an "internet person".
